Journey 75 was created by the 2022 members of the Nook Farm Writers Collaborative at The Mark Twain House & Museum.
Mark Twain is known for being born and dying as Halley’s Comet passed over the Earth. We named our magazine after the seventy-five year journey Halley’s Comet makes around our solar system before becoming visible to us again.
Our goal was to create a platform for young writers, to give them a comfortable place to share their work and gain exposure, especially those who otherwise may not have been able to publish their work. We want our voices to be heard. Publishing our work and the work of others allows our voices to speak through our writing, and gives young writers the credentials they need to build a successful writing career.
